AI can write, analyze, and sift through information faster than ever before. What, then, becomes of the capabilities unique to humans—and how do we identify them during a recruitment process where the traditional signals no longer work?
Every year, we bring together HR and TA leaders to launch our trend report and discuss the factors shaping the future of recruitment. This year, it is clear that AI is transforming both what we look for when hiring and how we go about it.
CVs and formal credentials are becoming less indicative of future performance; there is increasing noise on both the candidate and employer sides; and skills such as collaboration, sound judgment, and communication are becoming ever more critical.
The evening begins with a brief introduction to the most prominent trends of the year, followed by a keynote from author and researcher Kajsa Asplund on "soft skills" and the human competitive advantage in a world of AI, and a panel discussion on what will actually change in recruitment by 2027.
Agenda:
15:30 Doors open and mingling
16:30 Introduction from the stage
16:40 Keynote: Soft Skills in an AI World with Kajsa Asplund
17:00 Panel discussion
17:30 Mingling and networking
Location: Jobylon HQ, Sankt Eriksgatan 63B, Stockholm
The evening will revolve around:
- Which human capabilities increase in value as AI takes over more knowledge work, and what research says about how they can be developed
- Why CVs and credentials are becoming less reliable indicators, and what might replace them
- How to measure AI proficiency and the actual impact of AI
- How employers can build trust when job applications and job postings are increasingly written by AI
- What creates a human candidate experience within an increasingly automated process
The evening also includes a great opportunity to mingle with HR and TA leaders, and, of course, snacks and drinks will be available throughout the event.
