The Service is owned and provided by Jobylon AB, with Swedish registration number 556810-6172, a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden and with its registered office is located at Brahegatan 10, 114 37 Stockholm, Sweden.
We reserve the right to, at any time and of any reason, make amendments to this Policy. You will be notified by e-mail to your registered e-mail address. The amended Policy will also be published at jobylon.com (the “Site”). All amendments shall be effective thirty (30) days after they are initially posted on the Site, unless new legislation or other compelling reasons require the amendments to be effective immediately.
Throughout this document, we may use certain words or phrases, and it is important that you understand the meaning of them. The following is a non-exhaustive list of definitions of words and phrases that are used in this Policy:
“Jobylon” refers to our company Jobylon AB; our Site; our Service; or a combination of all or some of the preceding definitions, depending on the context in which the word is used.
“You” refers to you who use the Service on behalf of a legal entity who, for example, might be your employer.
The “Company” refers to the legal entity which you are representing, as an employee, consultant or likewise.
2. Prohibited use of the service
You may use the Service for lawful purposes only and agree not to use the Service for posting, transmitting or otherwise distributing illegal material.
You furthermore agree to, within the scope of the Service and in relation to Jobylon, not defame, abuse, harass, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights of others, including Jobylon; not publish, post or in any other way express any topic, material or information that is inappropriate, defamatory, infringing, obscene, pornographic, racist, terrorist, politically slanted, indecent or unlawful; not contribute to destructive activities such as dissemination of viruses, spam or any other activity that might harm Jobylon, the Service or other users in any way, and not use programming codes or commands when communication in the Service.
Jobylon reserves the right to directly limit the use of or access to the Service and to block, restrict or delete any content at any time, for any reason and without liability, if such use, access or content constitutes or may constitute i) a violation of the Policy in general or of any applicable local or international laws, rules or regulations, or ii) a risk of harming Jobylon’s trademarks, goodwill or reputation.
The Service includes functions for uploading, posting, linking and communicating and otherwise making content available for others. You are at all times responsible for content you upload or otherwise make available.
By uploading content to the Service, you warrant that you are either the owner of or holds a valid permission to such content from the appropriate right holder and that the content and your or your Company’s use thereof, is in no way a violation of any national or international legislation.
Jobylon makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, timeliness, quality, completeness, suitability or reliability of any information or data accessed on or through the Service. No information obtained from Jobylon or the Service shall create any warranty if not expressly stated. Jobylon does not examine or take any responsibility with regards to the validity of information provided by Companies or other users.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Service and its original content, features, functionality, and design elements are and will remain Jobylon’s, or its suppliers’, exclusive property. Jobylon’s intellectual property may not be used in connection with any product or service without Jobylon’s prior written consent.
The Site, the Service or any portion thereof may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any purpose inconsistent with the limited rights granted to your Company.
5. Personal Data
With “personal data”, we mean all information through which you directly or indirectly can be identified. For example: your name, your address, your civic registration number, your IP address, your login information, your e-mail address and any other data through which you can be identified. All of this is called “personal data” in short.
When you sign up as a user of the Service, you will be asked to provide certain personal data such as your name, email address, mailing address, credit card information, Facebook profile and Company information, or any information that you provide voluntarily. We will furthermore collect some information automatically, such as your IP-address.
If you are invited to the Service by your Company, the Company might provide us with some information about you in order for us to set up your account and send an invitation. We will furthermore automatically receive information about your use of the Service.
6. Responsibility for personal data
The Company is the so called “controller” of your personal data, in accordance with Swedish and EU legislation, whereas we are the Company’s personal data “processor” (or “assistant”). This means that the Company decides the purpose and manner of the processing and is responsible for its own and our processing of your personal data.
7. Purposes of processing
As the provider of the Service to your Company, we collect and process your personal data for your Company’s purposes, in accordance with its instructions and on its behalf. Please refer to your Company for more information in this regard.
The overall objective and purpose when processing your data, is however to provide you and your Company with a great Service.
We may occasionally send you emails to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
If you do not wish to receive such emails, you may however opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button in our email.
9. Accessing, Editing, and Removing Your Information
You can review and edit the personal information you have provided to us by logging on to your account on the Site and edit your user account. Although most changes/deletion occur immediately, information may still be stored in a web browser’s cache. We take no responsibility for stored information in your cache, or in other devices that may store information, and disclaim all liability of such. In addition, we may, from time to time, retain residual information about you in our backup and/or database.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data that your Company processes as a controller, once annually, free of charge. At your request, the Company shall also correct any of your personal data that is found to be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. To exercise any of these rights, you must make your request to your Company.
12. Third Parties
We or our users may post links to third party websites on the Site. Such third party websites are not screened for privacy or security issues by Jobylon, and you release us from any liability for the conduct of these third party websites.
The Service permits you to provide us with your Facebook profile information. If you wish to limit what Facebook shares with us, you must adjust your privacy settings for your Facebook account accordingly.
13. Sharing your Personal Data
Your personal data will be shared with other users of the Service and your Company. We may furthermore share your personal data with our subcontractors to facilitate, provide and perform the Service or to analyze how the Service is used. For example, our web host stores your information and we may use subcontractors to perform maintenance or assist us in securing the Site.
In such cases, we remain responsible for our subcontractors’ processing of your personal data. Our subcontractors have access to your personal data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use your personal data for any other purpose.
14. Server logs and non-personally identifiable information
Like most website operators, we collect non personally identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as your browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We will collect and share statistics about such use of the Service and the Site in an aggregated and non-personally-identifiable manner. Our purpose for collecting such information is to better understand how our visitors and users use the Service and the Site and for marketing and advertising purposes.
Such information is however used in an aggregated manner, and is never linked back to any personal data, unless to identify anyone using the Service or the Site in an unauthorized manner. We work hard to keep your personal data safe and secure. A number of measures have been implemented to hinder unauthorized access. For example, we use SSL certificates. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data and to make sure it is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy. We can however never guarantee its absolute security. We recommend that you use anti-virus software, firewalls, and other precautions to protect yourself from security threats.
